All things Kiran
So I weighed my self today and the scale says I lost 5 pounds. This puts me (almost) back to where I started before the cruise! But still leaves me a long way from my goal! I have cut down on sweets (not an easy task with my family around the holidays) and I am eating smaller portions. I ALWAYS lose alot the first week I try to lose weight so the big test is seeing if it will continue.
My brother is down this week with his beautiful wife and their new baby. He is sooooo adorable!!!!! And such a sweet baby. I am going to try and post a picture but I am still figuring out this blog so bear with me. I also have some recipes I want to post so I will attempt this later in the week.
Email me and let me know what things you are trying and what is working!!!!!!

Diet Fail
Well. 2 days into my diet and I realize that the week before Christmas is not the time to start a diet. My sister-in-law who is one of the best moms I know and looks absolutely amazing suggested I try the Jillian Michaels workout so I am going to purchase it tomorrow. She has an awesome blog called Scattered thoughts of a crafty mom http://scatteredthoughtsofasahm.blogspot.com/ check it out. She has great healthy recipes plus tons more of great ideas and useful information.
On a positive note I did go to Planet Fitness and sign up. I plan to start Tuesday going during my lunch break.
Since Lexi seems convinced that I am having a baby I fell is is imperative that I actually do this!!!!! Email me with any great weight loss ideas you have!!!!

Delaney 7 years old
I stole this from my husband but it was so cute I had to share!
Delaney to me while getting up, "Where's Mom?"
Me, "She went to work."
Delaney, "Aaww!, I didn't get to give her a kiss!"
Me, " I will give you a kiss."
Delaney, "That's Ok, Dad."

Day 1. Time to exercise!
So today I am starting my attempt to lose weight. For real this time! So I set my alarm for 5am and actually got out of bed when I heard a tiny voice (my 5 year old Lexi) say " Mommy please come back to bed, I'm cold without you." Soooo. I guess I will try again tonight after work. Does Christmas shopping count as exercise?
